Why is my space mouse not working in Simulation Mode?

Our Simulation Mode will work with any controller that controls the joints separately - for example, the velocity arrows in the software itself, a Master Arm controller, or a gamepad - but it won't work with a controller that uses kinematics like the space mouse.
